Update on Lexie Mae

Great news!!!

December 16th St. Jude’s did an Examine Under Anesthesia (EUA) and determined that Lexie has Coat’s Disease, not Retinoblastoma. This is fantastic news in a bad situation. Lexie does not have cancer! Her treatment at St Jude’s will end on Thursday, December 17th and she has been referred to LA Children’s Hospital for further treatment with the Coat’s Disease.

It will be a long road to recovery and correction of this disease, however, once treated she will face no other lifelong effects.
